I recently returned from a 4 day Canoe trip in the North/West corner of Algonquin Park, it was the hardest Canoe trip I have done, 3 moderate portages, with aprox. 6 hours worth of paddling (see map below). Our route began at "Kawawaymog Lake", traveled down the "Amable Du Fond River", crossed "North Tea Lake" and ended on an island in "Manitou Lake", we had 4 canoes and 8 people.

The photo below was taken on the paddle out, along the edge of the "Amable Du Fond River". We also spotted a female moose in the same area on the paddle in.
